Hello everybody, I have some Lillys in a large pot which have been there for several years without any problems. This year I noticed the leaves being eaten and found it had Lilly beatle. I have found & removed two also the grubs & also sprayed. My question is should I take the bulbs out & disgard the soil & start afresh. It's the first time I have come across this problem. Thank you in anticipation. Gina

As you have them in a container Gina yes I would remove all the compost and use new bought in compost.

I have the same problem Gina, I was tempted to grow them for the beetle, it is so pretty. Like you I am in pots and as Moon growe says get rid of all compost. I bet I get it next year as well though...I will be ready.
