I've had my salix integra for about 17 years in pride of place in the front garden but last year it didn't seem to produce so many leaves and this spring there was a great deal of deadwood in it. It's looked sicker as we've gone through the summer with a green mould on some of the dead branches and now hardly any leaves at all. Is it time for a cremation?

When you say mould, do you mean lichen, which shouldn't affect it.

I agree we need a photo, I thought Anthracnose of Willow but that would not explain the green mould.
