I have the heathers below and was wondering if cuttings could be taken.

If so, would it be best to take cuttings or dig them up/
and place them in the greenhouse over the winter?

Answers

Heathers are fully hardy and will survive even severe winters, but better in the ground than in pots. Trim them back lightly when they finish flowering and they will flower for years.
