ID please? When we visited the Botanic Garden of Wales recently I saw this lovely flower which looks familiar but can't think what it is and there didn't appear to be a label - does anyone recognise it? It was in the 'biome' so not a hardy plant presumably.

My gut feeling was maybe one of the Plectranthus family, but I'll be less brave and say one of the Mint (Lamiaceae) family - covers Plectranthus, Salvia and a couple of hundred more genus too!
Not much help reallY!

I'd go for Plectranthus too, I think. It's very pretty! :-)

Sorry but cannot confirm. Looks like a 'salvia' but there are so many types of this that it may or may not be one of them ... let us know if you find out what it is, please?!?
