Apple and pear trees

In the autumn I bought a small apple tree(Golden Delicious) and a small pear tree (Conference). I would like to know how often they need feeding and which is the best feed and do they need spraying against pests and diseases.

Hello Troy,
Apply round each tree 4ounces John Innes base fertilizer. Spray with pestacide and fungacide alternately, do this once a fortnight but not while flowering.
