Hi all,
Last year while on holiday in Niagara Falls, i collected Pennisetum Rubrum Seeds from plants growing in the local parks... I have tried to germinate them since January in both heated and unheated greenhouses with no success, has any members any experience with these seeds or any handy tips as to where im going wrong ??

According to my book, seed needs to be sown in a temperature between 13-18C (54-65F) in early spring. Pennisetum rubrum does not come true from seed so not all plants will have the purple foliage. Good luck
