I have two large pots of Tulip 'White Triumphator' with about 30 tulips in each pot close to the front door. Over the last 5 days about half of the tulips have been broken off and left dangling by a 'thread' of stem about 2-3 inches down from the base of the flower. In the same area I have similar pots of other varities which are all ok.
I don't hink it is a 2-legged pest. We live in a rural area and get most other sort of pests!

I had the same thing happen to my anemones in the garden - although the corms are still in the ground with a bit of growth left. I have a feeling mine were eaten by mice as I have seen them on that part of the garden near the bird feeder.

Quite a few of my long flowering Tulips have ended up the same due to the heavy rain and gale type winds we've had, which is annoying.

Could it have been the wind? It has been pretty strong here. Its possible that it might swirl round the side of the house. Our recent wind actually broke quite a lot of my rhubarb, which I don't remember happening before.
