Onions and garlic
I put into my raised beds 3 rows of onion sets and 3 rows of garlic cloves. Both have have grown really well but while the leaves on the onions are all green, those on the garlic are going yellow. When should they be ready for getting up ?

Garlic and onion leaves do go yellow, esp the bottom ones. As long as there are green leaves then it is fine. When they all go yellow then that is a sign to harvest. Keep them watered and they should be fine.

Have you fed them?
I give mine a nitrogen feed in early spring.

Sorry about the repetition, i wrote what I wanted, then looked back and it had disappeared so I re-wrote it and again, and again.
Thanks for the replies.
