I HAVE A VICTORIA PLUM TREE IN A 70 LITRE CONTAINER IT BLOSSOMED THIS SPRING THEN NOTHING NO LEAVES OR ANY SIGN OF LIFE .. IT APPEARS TO HAVE LEAKED SAP, ANY IDEAS

Dispose of it then, and do not reuse the compost it was growing in for other plants. Clean the pot thoroughly.

If the sap is orangey coloured, it may have canker, a bacterial infection. If its on the main trunk, that's not good news, if its on the branches, cut back beyond the infected point.
