After one beautiful warm day last Saturday, the days this week have been cold and damp with a kind of sea-fret mist. Not such a good week for gardening, but by the look of this, someone has been busy despite the weather...:o))

Thanks Pimpernel and Cinders....I love to see dew on the cobwebs, it really shows them up, when you think about our fraught lifestyles and then just what the insects go through each and every day just to survive, ours pales by comparison.....

Beautiful shot Janey . . . and profound thoughts too . . you are so right.

:o)).

Spider webs always face NE....I think. Lol one basic survival fact and I am not sure I remember it.

Umm . . why, Pimm's??

Something to do with the weather...It shows up really clearly on a hedge on a dewy morning. I guess they invest so much effort making them, that the knowledge is genetic instict.

That is so pretty Janey it looks like a Tiara headdress for a wedding ... :o)

That is really beautiful Janey.

Just like nature's jewellery! It's as though a fairy has come along and hung her necklace on a branch... Brilliant! :) Janey, you definitely have an artist's eye! :) Grey background is lovely too.

Beautiful, Janey, a crystal necklace :)

lovely pic janey...

Thanks everyone!...:)).
Yes this was facing NE Pimpernel....that's an amazing fact, I'll be checking them all from now on...Lol!
I thought we were all having drinks in the garden Sheila for a minute...Pimms!
It does look very sparkly girls doesnt it, pleased you all liked it. The grey background is just the out of focus blur, same camera as yours Karen and Amy, I find if I focus, it'll take a pic with a busy background or if you leave it longer, it focuses again really blocking the background out...it worked well this time with the colouring...:))

lovely to see the blossom coming out.
17 Mar, 2012
Soooo pretty !
17 Mar, 2012
It's a Lumix Pic....Isn't it? The camera does the work.
17 Mar, 2012
Lol Janey - there seem to be several different nicknames for Pimpernel, who seems to answer to all of them. :)
It was he who gave me a tip about using the Lumix: if you're taking a close-up, select "Food" . . . but you don't seem to need that nugget of advice!!
17 Mar, 2012
Thanks Linda and Driad!
Yes Pimpers....it is a great camera ...you choose th subject and it takes the best pic of it!
Mine doesn't have Food Sheila....it's a few years old now, I like to use the viewfinder better than the screen though it seems to work for me...:)))
17 Mar, 2012
Lol...I have loads of Alias's...
I have been looking at a new Lumix, but it is not as portable as this one. There is just something about the lens that shows in the picture.
17 Mar, 2012
Janey, I would be happier with a viewfinder too . . . it's taking me a while to become accustomed to the screen.
18 Mar, 2012
i love to see this janey, so pretty hanging from plants and sparkling in the morning sun :o)))
18 Mar, 2012
Ha ha Pimpers, I remember replying to you as Pimp.....not the best of names..lol! It's a great Leica lens.
Now I need specs Sheila, I can't see what I'm taking with the screen....:(((
Thanks San, a necklace of diamonds for my Snow Showers......the buds this year look pink, I'm sure they were White last year???
