Is my passion flower dead?

I'm in Staffordshire, UK and am worried about my passion flower. We had a really head winter and I fear the worst as there is no sign of life yet. My neighbour's is exactly the same. I can't remember it being so late to start growing before. Can anyone let me know if it should still be dormant or if it is a gonner please!

Yes there are signs of life. Do the scrape the bark test, if it is green they are still alive, if they snap off they are definitely dead.

I have one on a south facing wall that is only just starting to sprout fresh shoots. My other is planted out by my veg patch by a tree. It was against a fence but that was taken down so its quite exposed and in shade. Nothing yet and looks like it took a bit of a beating in winter. Although i am sure its still alive. Give it a couple of weeks (if its warmer) and see and maybe more

Ours still look poorly after the cold winter, I am just leaving them to come back in their own time.
