Ideas to stop cats pooing in my veg patch?

Please someone help me... I'm at my wits end with picking up cat poo and massacred birds from my veg patch - has anyone got any ideas how I can stop them from using my patch?

If the cat has really decided to poo there it is going to be difficult to persuade them to stop. If it isn't yours the best bet is the proprietary stiff from a garden centre... if it is your cat you may just have to live with it.

i think MG probably meant stuff.
Lilydee, this problem crops up a lot - if you do a search on cats/problem/poo or whatever on this site, you should be able to read past answers to the question which hopefully will help you.
I've actually got netting over my raised bed at present wch I put there to deter birds, but it's keeping cats off too which is good. It'll have to come off for pollination though.

You can buy a special product for this from garden centres, hun.
Some people put clear plastic bottles filled with water around the plants or stick little twigs in the ground sticking upwards, and bits of citrus peel are said to work too.
