i purchased 120 raspberry canes back in march so far
only 53 have shown any signs of life with either buds at
the bottom or up the canes my questions are is it normal for the canes to be slow to sprout,or should i get on to my
supplier and get replacements, they have been in the ground now for 8 weeks but northern irish weather has been particularly bad this year so my friends any ideas

Hi Ricky,
You asked about your Raspberries earlier, in my answer I asked if you had cut the canes down to 9ins or 1ft.. You don't get fruit from canes planted in March until June/July the next year. The energy from the canes is not enough to support full growth.
