Yes, isn't it the truth Seaburngirl. I do have them in cages so hopefully the rain won't knock them apart before they bloom. Keep the fingers crossed. Wait all year for them.

My peonies are such a sorry sight now they have been battered by the wind and rain. Even though they are lovely their flowering time seems very short-lived. I only have one and am very jealous of your beautiful border. Will keep my fingers crossed for you!

They're going to put on quite a show when they open.

I don't have them on my balcony nor have I ever grown them when I did have a garden yet they are flowers I do like. I've seen some plants flowering in gardens around town & they looked great. Then we had a few very cold & very windy days with a few showers & the plants were knocked down & many of the flowers shattered on the ground, a shame when just a few canes & some string would hold them up.
