I went to Aldi and bought these two Clematis today I haven’t planted them yet but I thought that I would show you the pictures before I plant them.
I have a little problem in that I have to find some room in my garden now where they can go-this is not an easy task.
To make matters worse I couldn’t resist buying a red gooseberry plant either so will have to find room for this too……lol ;-)

Blimey Richard ... they look in great condition & raring to go! What a brilliant buy! Usually supermarket clematis are a bit spindly but these are excellent specimens!
Well done that man! :o))

Right, first thing when you plant is to cut off the flowers, to allow the plant to concentrateits efforts on its root system. Hard to do, I know, but worth it in the long run

Oh Phil! I don't think I could bring myself to do that! Did you see Alice Fowler pulling all the apples off her new tree as well the other night on GW? Lovely clems Richard, especially the Piilu. It looks very good indeed! My Warsaw Nike is just going over now - this one looks good. Aldi eh? Must stop by there some time!
