Two Thrifty Ideas...

Hello my friends!

I like finding new thrifty ways that I can use in my garden and these are my two latest ones…The first idea I had for a wreath was from a gardening friend who lives in Ipswich.

1. A Winter Wreath…Well I made an early start on making a (Christmas!..too early for that word yet!) wreath yesterday after I collected up some garden twigs and berries from the honeysuckle…Here is my effort so far though it needs adding too later:-

2. I also collected up a lot of allysum that was growing between the front paving slabs and potted them up ….I had about eight pots in the end….lol :-

I have plenty more ideas like this that I will write about and share later..

Can't beat the Allysum, I have only ever bought one pack of seed, and just move the odd seedlings to where I want them each year.

The wreath looks good Richard, you could keep adding different things like lovely autumn leaves at the moment then holly....at the appropriate time.....(much too early for the c word.... :0)))
