Local nursery

This is similar to my local one, small and everything's in one place. You go in with an idea of what you want and then come out with twice the amount of things purchased :) in fact, I'm going again tomorrow :)

The nursery looks great and I can see how any plans would fast disappear! You can always tell a good Nursery by how clean the glasshouses are, grubby, grotty and covered in moss and you may well be taking something nasty home with you. Don't forget the after pictures so we can all see how creative you have been!

Dan it's over 50 acres in size :) Honeysuckle it is so different to my local DIY store nothing dying and so many rare plant, as for the pictures ill post them as soon as, how good it turns out will be anyone's guess in not that good with baskets and containers.

We all do that.....go in for one thing and come out with something completely different! It's the best part though isn't it, buying the plants??!!

Not so little then! The one I go to is a big glasshouse with everything in (it's quite a small place) but if you make an appointment you can go round their growing areas and buy plants before their in the shop :)

That's a brilliant idea

We have our one just outside of our town, my daughter and I go there on a regular basis, its a family run nursery and has been there all my life, my daughter always has a plan that usually disappears when we are looking over the displays, they also have two polytunnels that they use as bargain basement selling off there leftovers, now those we check out everytime we go up there, bought some marvellous plants and shrubs over the years that just need repotting and a little TLC....

There great Lincs so much better than other DIY stores or supermarkets the quality just stands out. They do have a small corner with half price items but to be honest there wasn't much there, I'll need to get the Mrs to ask if they have a bargain basement I always like a deal :) OH says I'd buy a one legged giraffe if I thought I was getting a bargain lol
