Thanks Bamboo got to admit once they were filled with plants soil & watered I was a little nervous they were a lot heavier than I thought they would be, I was half expecting the full thing to collapse lol

It looks great and like Bamboo I really admire your baskets. Keep us updated as they come into bloom. It looks as if your post is out of view of your neighbours, shame you might have had a second business making the posts!

Well I noticed, in the list of things you bought to do the posts, there was also some cement, so if you used that, should be fine weightwise. Because you're right, hanging baskets are surprisingly heavy once watered.

lol Funny you should say that HS! The Mrs said I should try and sell some, as for the neighbours the only thing that grows in there gardens are dandelions, They were quite heavy Bamboo but they seem to be handling the weight ok I'm quite pleased with them.

Sorry to hear about the Damdelions. Hope your winds blow the seeds the opposite way to your garden.
The hanging baskets are wonderful.
Thanks for sharing them with us all.

They look great Vic and as said the baskets themselves are very attractive, I like the wicker ones myself, mine need replacing really as I've mended them many a time over the years and they are literally on their last legs, yours are going to look smashing in a couple of weeks as the blooms come out...

Thanks Lincs I hope so! containers & baskets have never been my strong point, Didn't think about mending baskets is it easy ? and where would you get the material.

Its going to look braw when they fill out. Look forward to seeing them in full flowering glory.

Sorry Vic I only just noticed you asked about mending the baskets, it is easy for me because I have a huge weeping willow in my garden, nothing like the expert touch but once planted up you dont see much of the baskets anyway, I also use the long tendrils around my pea and bean canes instead of wire or string, provides a rustic look, not posh enough for some but I have never liked the pristine look....LOL.

Wish I had a bigger garden, I would grow some willow, always fancied one of those living willow arbours, as for the plant support I think there great more natural looking.
