Virus alert just to be on the safe side.

Like many of you I noticed and started flagging the ‘drone blogs’ but then I got a security alarm and I had ‘gained’ 53 viruses. whether from one of the blogs I was flagging or it was just coincidence I don’t know. Ran a virus clean up and all clear now.
might be worth doing a scan to be on the safe side.
All the best for 2014.

Like I said Hywel, not really sure where they all came from but I may have inadvertently clicked on something but thought it worth mentioning.

SBG could happen ,dont we have to click on it to be able to flag it

Yes Snoopy, you click on where it sais "flag this blog" and it opens a page on GoY where you can read what the blog sais ... but the GoY page would not be dangerous.
If you click on the highlighted words in the blog, then you'll be taken to the personal website of the people who wrote it, and that's what could be dangerous.
Maybe someone could contact the people in charge to get it clarified.

I don't know much about computers but I don't think you'd get a virus from clicking something on the GoY site.
You might get one if you clicked on one of the highlighted and underlined 'things' in the blog, because by doing that you'd get into their own site, which could be dangerous.
I once got an alert when I clicked on a google photo of a plant. It shows how dangerous the whole thing can be :o(
