Our poor garden is just the same! So sad to lose the lovely show of colours. Keep your photos handy to cheer you up.

Ditto with our Acer ... lots of tiny leaves all around the lawn and patio now. : o ((

Thanks all,certainly taking note of things i read on these blogs,im one of these people who go out and cut everthing back like a person on a mission but now going to leave things till spring.

The cottoneaster (if I'm correct) was certainly full of berries. Is it a special variety?...the leaves look nicely coloured as well.
