My Wisteria is about 5/6 years old and I follow Allen Titchmarsh,s plan, Jan: tie in stems to extend coverage along your framework, and snip off the rest to finger length. Feb: feed with potash-rich fertiliser rose feed. Jun: Feed again. July shorten unwanted stems to 30cm to prevent wind damage through Autumn/winter. Iv’e followed this plan eversince Ive bought mine, I now have two one pink one blue and they are flowering fine it takes time but oh boy is it worth it good old titchmarsh hope this helps Sixpence good luck bye Sheil.
