My collection of Sisyrinchiums.
Firstly the tall ones
Sisyrinchium palmifolium
S. striatum pale yellow eyed grass, usually has variegated leaves, but mine has reverted to the green leaved version.
Now the small ones, S. biscutella
Another small yellow one, S. californium, the flowers alway followed by lots of large seed pods.
S. Dragons Eye, bought 2 years ago, mail order from a nursery, has increased well.
Lots of this purple coloured one
Turns up all over
And this very common small pale blue which seeds readily
.
Lastly the new white one I bought at an HPS open garden, repotted into a bigger pot, still small, but it has a seed pod.
I’ve just got to decide where to plant it so it doesn’t get confused with any of the others.
