Flowering in 2020, on the allotment, I thought this, 2077A a most beautiful colour, and shape. (A Space Age with horned beard) This year it was nowhere near as spectacular.
At home this cross flowered for the first time 2019, so spectacular, I moved it to a better spot but it has not flowered again since. I wanted to back cross this for a redder beard.
This year after a very wet spring we in the South have had no rain for over a month, so the Iris flowering season was very condensed and finished early.
There is always next year, maybe the growing conditions will be better.

I hope you'll have better weather next year but I think the flowers are still lovely, I like the rich colours.

Thank you I enjoyed crossing Bearded Iris in the past, but lack of space at home and the allotment has terminated my aspirations.
