Sun getting lower...notice?

Shadows from the tree keep the side yard in shade about 2 hours longer now. At least when the sun gets to the other side of the big Ash tree- it shines on that colorful part of my yard until sundown. Making high light needing plants, pleased enough.
More pruning to be done. We still have until the 3rd week of November as a growing season. Then, either we cool down,or rains come, or nights are too long for days over 21-22C or Low 70f’s to be everyday. They are pretty much retired until April.
Interesting that my hobby of tropical plants this far north means..I can grow many types and even some tropical fruit tree’s,but unlike in southern California, its not possible to plant a grove of them. They either need too much frost protection or they don’t all ripen in time for harvest before winter.
Land in the bay area that tends to be frost free? Is city lands. No chance for orchards. Like an Apple orchard in downtown London.
So,either I’m very lucky to be in urban warmth..or I could be luckier and live in Hawaii-lol.

We have noticed the lower sun in our little part of Shropshire. Now in the mornings, we have to close one of the curtains as when the sun comes up, it is in hubby's eyes where his chair is in the front room. This being his normal position till he has had at least 4 cups of tea before he is human in the morning. I do envy your tropical fruit, there is no way I could grow any of it up here. Our days are already only about 14 to 15c and falling to 6c or lower at night. Jumpers are out of the cupboard and at times even a coat. Getting darker earlier and sun coming up later. Autumn is here.
