well today started dull and wet but i didn’t mind at all, after the wind yesterday we need some water as it had dried most of the plants out.

Annie and i had plans to go to Spalding and change the locks for the garden centre gates, so we duly typed in the co-ordinates to the sat nav and set out on our way, we had been travelling about 10 miles when i noticed where the sat nav was taking us, " i know a short cut to bypass lots of this travelling" i said to annie, " oh we had better go where she wants us to go" exclaimed annie, " we dont want her to get angry with us, do we".

I had to smile to myself, she never seems to grasp technology, but she is learning bless her.

Been to my woodturning club today for a hands on night, a guy there was showing us how to do pierced work on wood, and texturing and carving too, very interesting and i hope to put some of it to good use later on.

A couple of the foxgloves have now come into flower and look gorgeus, cant wait for the lysimachia and lupins to join in..
