Pureland- amazing place

well its my day off today and i was told yesterday by a work colleague about this japanese garden not far from where we live, so i planned a suprise visit for annie today.
The day started out dull and overcast and never really changed at all, but on we went to find it. On arriving there we parked in the car park and went and paid our money to the chap in the tea room.
WOW this place is fantastic, although its not that big, we looked at the garden from every angle and boy is it wonderful.
I have tried to convey some of the garden in my photos, i hope they are ok for you to see it.
I put annie in this shot for scale,

Loved the splash of colour from the Knifofia

i will upload more photos of this place if anyone is interested in seeing them, the carp in the ponds were amazing too, sorry for the sky colour but i think they all turned out well concidering the weather.
We ended our tour of the garden just as the rain started, so we were lucky.
We now intend to go month by month and see all the differences there, we also did that at Geoff Hamiltons garden.
thank you..

It does look beautiful and not like Japanese gardens are often portrayed by some show gardens. More photos would be lovely, thank you.

Agree with Hywel, great garden. Wish I lived round the corner from Barnsdale - would visit every week.

we visited Barnsdale 5 times in a year, saw Geoffs family and bought a few plants from his nursery, worth a visit.
