Just thought I would tell you why I haven’t been on much, the evening of Sunday 6th June during the night there was a cat fight going on I didn’t hear it but husband did. Come Monday morning no Stripes on bed or for breakfast
by lunch time panic set in.Still nothing Tuesday I called and called, Tuesday night OH did me loads of leaflets so first thing Wednesday morning of I trot posting leaflets every were and put posters on lamp post. I hadn’t been in long and phone rang to say she’d seen my cat walking along her fence Tuesday afternoon but she didn’t take much notice as she hadn’t had the leaflet.Of I went to see were it was, over the the railway line ‘OH MY GOD’
So from then on I’ve been walking the streets calling putting more leaflets in further a field and over the weekend just gone we went out at 10-30 in the evening walking the streets to no avail.
But today 21st June I got a phone call from someone who had been feeding him for the last 3 days.
when I went through the gate and called him it was something magical he came running and crying all at once.
I’ve just come back from the vets and he’s fine apart from losing 2lb in weight.
So now he’s going to be realy spoilt …………..

Thank you all for your lovely remarks, not a very good night as he wouldn't leave me and kept crying through the night just making sure we were still here.
Today he has slept well.
OH has just said he will have to give him a bill for all the printing and laminating trying to find him...........

What a relief for you to get lovely Stripes back Les, such a worry when they go missing isn't it? I was awake till 2.30 am this morning as my 'delinquent' cat was missing for 4 hours. Usually it's never more than an hour and I just couldn't get to sleep. I thought all that waiting up was over when my 'children' left home ! LOL I'm so glad he'back safe and sound..

Thanks Lily2 , he's settled back quite well, he wont go very far keeps coming back to make sure I'm still here. Still scared about leaving him out at night although he does have a cat flap, still all blocked off. !!!!!!

Yes I think I'd keep him under house arrest too Les, not that it sounds like he's intending going far! It must have frightened him a lot.

Thank you Elsiemay, he' now fine and put the weight back on. Talk about spoilt after we had taken out the gooseberry bushes he had no were to sleep, so we put his basket in the shed and he started sleeping in there, now OH has fitted a cat flap into the shed. When I came home today he was fast asleep in his basket lovely and warm.
