OSMANTHUS DELAVAYI,

This beautiful shrub has been wafting its perfume around over the patio and I love it. I let it grow quite large before cloud pruning it and now it looks like a small tree. Another of my favourites at this time of year is the Viburnum `Lisa Rose` planted in memory of my daughter it just seems to flower forever and gives the ideal spot for my little pixie to rest under.

Wow, that looks a lovely area to sit and an impressive with your cloud pruning. Looks beautiful. Knowing me, if I tried, I would kill the plant.

P'raps yours is Osmanthus heterophyllus, SBG - Holly osmanthus.
Stroller, I put one of these up on my pics. recently. I absolutely love it at this time of year. The flower scent is a delight. I can't get the 'Lisa Rose' to stay with me, i've tried a couple of times. I'm glad it works for you. Your garden is a delight.

Your Osmanthus is beautiful, and the Viburnum is a lovely idea in memory of your dear daughter.

Thank you one and all. Ange and Sbg I also have the Osmanthus heterophyllus "Goshiki" ... variegated holly like leaves, think you can just make it out in front of the Viburnum 2nd pic ... grows very very slowly for me.

Beautiful shrub, Stroller! The blooms look so pretty, obviously enhanced by the gorgeous scent.
I’ve three osmanthus, but they’re Goshiki. The false holly.

lovely cloud pruning. I tried that with a lilac and it just looked a mess so I gave up in the end. In fact it suckered I am sure just coincidence.
I dont have Osmanthus or at least if I do it doesn't look like this. I really must find out what my variegated slightly holly type leaf is.
