Our garden.

Our garden is quite small but we’ve halved it roughly into ‘ours’ and ‘theirs’ as in birds, bees, mice, butterflies and anything else passing by.

When the Beast From The East came we had a very rare visitor as in this Fieldfare, he only stayed a day but was very welcome.

Since around Christmas time we have had this woodmouse living in our twigpile, he shows his pretty face whenever he needs a restock of peanuts.

This is a more recent photo with both halves shown.

Welcome to GOY. It should come with a health warning lol. Can be addictive and cost you money after seeing all the different ideas and plants ?. Great photo of your little mouse. Lots of interest with your "visitors " and all your lovely pots. Jen

Thank you for the kind comments. Waking up (no matter how early) to the sound of the dawn chorus, is one of the best things of life, so the birds are very important. We used to have a lot more in the way of finches and starlings but now we appreciate every single one, even the dull old spuggies because they are so cute, especially when they have dust baths or a good old wash in one of the 5 bathing/water bowls. I haven't been able to get through to them that they should use different ones for different purposes, ha-ha! My seedlings range from Cosmos, Cornflowers, Poppy, Nasturtiums and Coreopsis and bulbs of Gladioli, Dutch Iris and Tulips which are sadly now fading. Sowing seeds indoors keeps me happy in the Jan to March days when I don't go outside so much.

And from me too.
My favourite photo is the little wood mouse. Isn't he a little charmer?

He is cute for sure Steragram, hoping for some time to publish more photos this week, but as the weather is absolutely glorious, I'm planning on lots of outdoor jobs while it is so nice!

Hello Sunnydais, welcome to Goy,I know I'm late in arriving but I am in fact trying to play catchup on what is proving to be a very mixed day, rain most of the time but it is very much needed and appreciated, your garden sounds lovely, I like the way you describe it as two halves and your photo's of the visitors are a delight to see...
