Summer to Winter

The last three days have been sunny calm and warm – today is sunny windy and seriously cold.
So a couple of photos from the nicer days……..
I’ve featured these tulips before, Double Late Blue Spectable, but they are so silly wide and voluptuous I’d really recommend them – they’ve lasted for ages and have been so interesting. They bend down which I’m sure isn’t right but heck you can see them a whole lot better that way!
I wonder if there are different colours available……….for £2 for 8 bulbs they were a bargain.
Also these are new to me too, Allium Mixed, just 25 cm tall these ones are very different to the usual Allium – they are supposed to come in pink and yellow too – I’m waiting to see!

I like 'different' Hywel - which is just as well the way some things turn out in my garden!
