Today went and spent at the auctions bought 10 holly trees, 2 purple weeping willows 6 spirea bushes 18 small ornamental blue conifers 8 privet bushes 2 PHYSOCARPUS 10 red robin bushes, 1 large ornamental tree 2 × 20kg sacks of carlton daffs 6 pyracanthus plants all these for £150 the garden centres are selling the willows for £16.99 each and spireas are £6.99 each so I think I’ve done well hope to go back end oct/nov when the bare root plants will be there. Got 5 sacks of grass seed which should go down in the next week, things are looking better

Back again, now purchased a 2nd hand tunnel as greenhouse was completely destroyed in the winds earlier in the year. Need to buy a new cover thought this best option as rabbits are eating everything as it grows, I planted 2 willow trees at the bottom of the garden and it looks like deer (assume this because of the height appox 18-24ins from the floor) have gnawed and stripped the bark, now wrapped chicken wire round them hope they will survive.Grass was planted last september, doing well but sparse in places (rabbits dinners maybe) will have to stone pick again, didnt know stones rise to the surface! By stones I mean flints and large pebbles like 3 or 4 inches. intend growing veggies salad crops in the poly to prevent this again and hopefully flowers and plants from seeds and cuttings, as they are just too expensive int the quantites I need. The bank still has nothing in it except the 25kg of daffs which flowered and looked lovely, have now bought some creeping geraniums as apparently they spread but are only summer cover. I will try to get some pics uploaded of the garden
