Here are a few final photos from my gardens :

I pollarded my robinia tree which had grown extra tall … then found one remaining bloom and was surprised how well it has flourished as a cut flower in my vase …

My sad news is that recently, within only a fortnight, I had to say farewell to both of my dogs. Truffle the terrier had lived a good, long life to age 16½ years. Neptune Sheltie coped bravely with several bouts of illness, but eventually ran out of energy. I miss them both very much and am thankful and privileged to have shared so many good times with them.
But I am pleased to show you my new baby budgie … introducing Kismet .. he is already a happy boy, playing with his toys and chirping cheerfully to make my home feel less empty and more joyful …

Over the years, it has been wonderful meeting you all on GoY. Thanks to each and every one of you, including the admins working behind the scenes.
