Well, my poor plants are not sure what season it is this year. I have bergenias just flowering, which they usually do in Spring, my Japanese anemones are coming out, when they normally do in 2 or 3 months time and my poor rosemary bush has not flowered at all this year when it has always done so in late Spring/early Summer.
It’s definately a "play it by ear " year for us gardeners ! At least I think I’m getting used to gardening in the rain.
How about you ?

My rosemary didn't flower either this year and the long-tailed tits were back the other day, whereas they are normally brief Autumn visitors. We, too, have sunshine but there is a chill wind.

The first flower on my first Japanese anenomes opened just the other day too. My rosemary did flower ... but it's now looking very yellow and unhappy, because of so much rain I presume :( And Geranium_gem needs some some sun too!!

Yes I've got a dicentra coming into bud. They usually flower in spring lol. Well we've had several wet summers in a row here in south west Wales, so I'd like some warm sunshine now for a change :o)
