A special day we both share.
Today i reached 48 and still retain all my hair!!
The weather’s grim, the grass is trim
but it still can’t make my belly slim!
Out for a meal, see how i feel.
Chineese dinner will always heal.
So raise a glass and say three cheers,
To BLOOMER and TIGER
In their twilight years!!!

Happy Birthday Bloomer, hope you have a great day too, all the best Tiger.

Thanks everyone, i know i'm a spring chicken really!! It's so nice to have such lovely people to have a little laugh with on G O Y, aswell as all of the serious stuff through out the year. As the weather turns at this time of the year it's nice to log on and still feel like it's summer!!!

Enjoy your birthdays Tiger and Bloomer. The verse is really flowing here on GOY.

My birthday's passed
But the good times last.
Planting up presents
is really a blast!

I'm just a beginner
Not getting any thinner
But my gosh it's sure fun
Not feelin' glum.

The new garden will happen
as I get to the mapping
planning a beautiful retreat
while winter puts all the flowers to sleep.

There's no better way to spend each day
Than having GOYers show me the way.
Photos, blogs and comments galore
Who could ask for anything more.

lol.....I tried! lol

Hello Cate and thankyou. My wife actually comes from Hong Kong!

Not only do i get spoiled at home,[ her late father used to be a top chef in Soho, London] she knows the best chinese restaurants in our local area!!
Chinese food is so nutritious and fantastic to eat, i'm sure i would not have such a thick mop of hair at my age if it wasn't for her, Lol !!!!
