Im a 44 yr old musician , recently moved to London. Im semi retired due to bad / inconsistant health. ( M.E ) This gives me plenty of time to tend my garden on my " normal " days. This is the first yr ive really tended a garden of my own ( i used to run a business as a gardener/grasscutter ) when we moved to this property in march 09 there was nothing here to speak of, during this first spring and summer ive worked hard to try and create my own bit of paradise, I know very little about plants and flowers, but like to think im learning as i go along. Im grateful to anyone who offers advice and thank everyone in advance on this site that does just that. Most of my planting is done using recycled waste, for example my seeds are sown in any old plastic tray that comes in the weekly food shop, chicken or meat ones are good. When the seeds need to be seperated i use old toilet roll tubes cut in two, one end plugged with shredded paper, then placed in plastic sweet boxes i get free from my local shop (pic n mix type ) Im also a musician so my time is divided between my family, my garden and my love of music
