A day for the garden...

The sun is shining and despite last nights frost it’s a day for the garden. The ironing etc can wait another day. Planning to plant lettuce, radishes and spring onions today.
A tip for those who want to get lettuces off to a flying start;- I bought those mixed packs of growing lettuces for about £1.00. I broke them up into about 8 ‘bunches’ and planted into a multi-compost in a plant trough. Used as a ‘cut-and-come-again’ type they lasted all summer right up until the first frosts. Well worth the £1 as we tend to eat lots of lettuce and enjoy a variety of ‘green stuff’

You had frost ? :o((( I hope it hasn't spoilt anything in your garden.
Thanks for the tip with growing lettuces. I want to try some this year, so I might do that.
