Guess they spread lots of joy around the neighbouring gardens...

Sorry to be late seeing this Julia, we had a new TV set up yesterday and the computer was going so slow that I gave up last night. Turns out it was a local issue, not our fault at all.

Well, you had your work cut out with weeding that garden! So many weeds to remove, where on earth did you start? I'm not sure my neighbour's is that bad, but it may well be as I can only see so far over the fence . . . :o(

As I told you Shirley, the owner was an elderly man who was very poorly.
I tackled it a bit at a time and eventually I got it back to the garden he used to know and love. Sadly I have lost the photos of what the garden looked like afterwards.
When he passed away, the new owners asked me to walk round the garden with them and tell them what was growing. They have since looked after the garden extremely well.

I' m glad that your new neighbours look after the garden.
It was good of you to have a go at tidying it up for the old boy.

Julia, it's good to know the new owners were keen to look after the garden.

Oh,I remember you doing all that work for your elderly neighbour,Julia, and what a job to tackle ! A shame you lost the photo's of 'after' ,but nice it was being well cared for...No problems now you have moved,so hopefully you won't feel obliged to volunteer to do the same for your new neighbours . Just don't look over the fence ! lol
