Cold outside but very nice to see that Goy members are giving me that wonderful growing buzz as always. Its greenhouse prep time again, and seed catalogues are once again being delivered. Most of my cuttings from last year have survived and many are already begining to show good condition which the cold weather seems to have enhanced . Very excited i even thought of polishing my Wellies but my good lady hid my trusty Brush and blacking under the pretext of it being to cold to proceed with such a venture. Tut tut it appears such a minor hiccup in my 2015 scheme of things. Take care nice people and i hope you all have a wonderful gardening season. Tally ho Tony

And a happy gardening year to you Tony ! Lets hope Spring is not late this year !

Yep I agree with Stera, anyway dirty wellies are a sign of an eager gardener, unless of course they're heavy with old caked on mud and then its a banging together session accompanied by a few choice words to oneself because you'd forgotten to clean them up last time, lol..
Happy gardening Tony, indoors browsing the catalogues and goy pages is a good idea today unless of course you don't mind getting blown all over the place, we have sunshine here at the mo but its a tad iffy outside so I didn't linger.......

Banging them together is what I need to remember, rather than putting them on heedlessly and then having to sweep the utility room floor yet again...

Stera I've wound myself up many a time over the years for that very reason, come in off the garden, all of a rush because I've been out there too long and its a mad scramble to prepare the dinner before the family arrive, so off come the wellies thinking I'll clean them later, somehow later never seemed to arrive in those days....

Our clay soil loves my wellies, especially when it is wet!!

The porch where i leave my wellies could be a good sorce of compost with the amount that falls of mine and the families wellies. maybe i could plant a few daffs there.

Too cold out there for me too today seed books and lists for me today. Spring is not here yet...:-)

We have snow here Tony. I get out into the garden at the slightest sign of sun but I feel I shouldn't remove all the leaves that are protecting my plants. I just want to get going!!!

Snow here too Tony, I've been doggie walking in my wellies and cleaned them as I walked! Only to find then I had a fine split in one, so an hour later I arrived home with a soggy bottom.....foot that is....:)). Stay warm and enjoy the catalogues....

I know what you mean Tony ! Just when I thought it was all gone, this morning down the snow came again and settling too ! Last year was a one off I think ! We only had one night of frost the whole winter ! Perhaps we might get a good summer this year ! Perhaps we should all hibernate until the spring like some animals do ! Hahaa!
