Spring at the beach

There is a special event taking place during September, the hot air balloon festival.
This beach is famous for their balloon festival:…
As hubby had a few days off due to his recovering time from a surgery, we decided to use it in a short trip to Torres beach.
Trekking to the cliffs
A closer view
A wall of rocks and plants
The other side of the cliff
Finally the top of the cliffs… and a view of the other cliffs
Hubby taking a break…. not looking bad 5 days after the surgery :o)
A clser view from the other cliffs
A view from the top
The cactus sharing the sky, the sea, and the cliffs
I hope you will enjoy it :)

Lovely photo of the hot air balloons, Alenya! :-) I've never seen so many in one place at one time. In a town near here they have a hot air balloon festival every year but I've never been able to get over there to see it. :-(
In the town where we used to live in Spain we used to see a couple of them being prepared from the balcony of our flat. I even managed to get a few photos of them being prepared for flight, the moment they take off & even in flight as we lived on a 5th floor & the field where they were prepared was a long way down, not far from the river.
On occasions we see one or two from our flat here also but they are most often high in the sky & often quite solitary.

Thank you Balcony, I shall tell you I took this from their link to the festival... as you can see the advertising at the right corner... (Torres RS)
This festival is famous, people come from everywhere, the images are great, specially when all them are in the air...
It is nice to drive there to see them.
Here in our city and the cities around they are not allowed due to the high buildings.
