Snow in south Brazil

I know you all tired about seeing snow, but I though it would be funny to see some of our pictures of snow.
All these pictures can be found if you google “neve em porto alegre”…
although some of you wouldn’t understand portuguese :o)
The photos bellow are from Porto Alegre, where I have my office… 23 miles south from where I live
and this one is from Novo Hamburgo, where I live…
As you can see, is about 1 or 2 inches at all…. can’t really kill the tropical plants…
and they look good covered with snow…. :o)
This photo was took in Gramado a city 45miles up north, in the hills

OH ek i don't fancy any of that yet .it's a beautiful warm sunny day here in derbyshire. it's nice to look at from a distance though.

Luckily in this region we hardly ever see snow

Does the writing on the car translate as Snow 2000 ?

LOL TT, my snow wellies bought in Chicago 1996 are becoming "cracked" for not being used... hehehe.
Yes, that means "snow 2000"
The snow her never last very long TulsaLady... thats why we all run outside to take pictures...
Im glad you liked Louise, the image with the palms covered with snow it is exactly wt I'd like to show to Delonix.... tropical plants with snow are ... funny!!

not ready for snowyet Aleyna~still have memories of February here which was not nice~especially when it freezes and becomes like glass!wonder if we should order those things you slip over your shoes with spikes just in case!
I hope your plants come to no harm~was it really cold?

Hi Arlene... I'm always ready for snow... lol
We had a few -4 and -5°C this last winter... have seen some -10ºC, and chilli!!!
I bought a Polyscias quilfpoylei (popular name here is Happyness Tree) suffering because of the cold, but it survived, and is sprouting now... :o)

I agree with you Aliwya, they look even better when the sun cross them creating a few little rainbows, almost as beautiful as the monlight crossing them... the view is amazing... :)

I looove the snow.......going out walking.....then back home to a nice warm house....and a nice hot brew ..........just lovely :o)
