Yeh!!! I have been accepted at our local college to do a course – Level 3 Diploma which the equivalent of 3 A’ levels in Horticulture. They didn’t even want to look at my qualifications, I guess they were impressed with little old me!!

Not so much of the 'old' please, Andrea!
Seriously, congratulations - I hope you enjoy it! When do you start? Also, how long does it go on for?

It starts in September and it is for 2 years, 2 full days a week so not too much time taken up at the school itself

I wish I could get two days off work to learn something interesting. I managed one day a week years ago and at the moment have to settle for a correspondence course for RHS level 2.
Well done you. Good luck.
Let us know how it goes wont you.

About the shirt, when the site was still in its early days Peter and Ajay sent a few out to members that had contributed quite a lot at the time. If you send them a message, I'm sure you will be able to persuade them to give you details, as this is not a selling site I'm not sure they will be able to set up a purchasing page, but it's worth asking.
Thank you all so much for the kind words, I can't wait to get started...........

That's great news, Andrea, congratulations.
September may seem quite a way off now but it will come round very quickly. Last September I began a part - time (one day a week) course in teaching English as a second language and cannot believe we are half way through it already. I hope you enjoy your course as much as I am mine, I am sure you will.
I love the shirt too, think you may have started something there.
