I see from the news today, the Olympic sailing venue at Weymouth is now open. For those involved in water sports (and paddling) at the Wellie Olympics, this is excellent news.
The other good news is, there is not one but TWO hostelries in Weymouth suitable for refreshment after training – the Wellington and The Boot!

Eh? Will a goat be competing too? What event? Spose he might be good at the mowing and then bleating a quick retreat should anyone complain about him butting in...
Good work Andrew ;-)

BB ~
Can't stomach the real ale ?
That really gets my goat.
One answer to scrolling down 350 comments ~
Find the blog, drink a cup of tea, or preferably Somerset Cider, and then ~ magic ~ it's easy to scroll down ~
though the 350 comments might look more like 700. :o)
I'm hoping to start a new Wellie blog soon, especially for Spritz's fingers and for Gillian in Canada, who says the snow freezes up her computer and makes the scrolling down a lot

Well TT thought I may have been a bit harsh so googled Weymouth breweries and there it was .. the Dorset piddle brewery .. fancy ordering a pint of that ?

Sorry, but I really am TT :o)
29 Nov, 2008
Aye think I would be if offered that !

Arlene - only recycled samples (that's why there is a Dorest piddle brewery).
BB - is that anywhere near Piddle Trenthide? If they need lager (sorry, larger) premises, will they move to Puddletown? Or just to Beer?
