Not to be outdone by a cat (Blodyn), Bruno and Barney have been training hard for the Wellie Olympics too. They have entered the Pooh Sticks event.

As there is no stream in the garden, the bears have to use the pond for practise – on this evidence, they have been doing it all night

But what’s this – are they practising for the bears doubles tennis event too?

I'm so impressed by their intensive training.
For the GoY Winter Wellie Olympics, can they compete in Pooh Sticks on Ice ?
If the pooh sticks turn to icicles, I guess they'll grin and bear it. :o)

Barney and Bruno live in a Yellow Book Garden, so you're right ~
it has to be yellow gold for their Wellie Olympic medals. :o)

On my photos, Mr Claptrap aka Bertie Bassett, is wearing Paddington bear gardening wellies. Next thing, Barney and Bruno will be wanting to borrow those.
As long they don't make pooh sticks from his liquorice sticks :o)
