Back in Time for the Hellebores

Just got back from my holiday in Mexico (yes thanks, I had a great time). Although it wasn’t a ‘plants’ holiday, there may be a blog on some of the ones I saw if/when I identify my pictures.
But I got back to find early spring has arrived – snowdrops and crocus in full bloom and all the hellebores getting going. Here are a few to whet the appetite:

Hi Andrew - welcome back! I'm pleased to hear that you had a good holiday. I like that one with the pink margins! What's its name please, and where's my favourite double purple one?
Have you seen what I've been up to while you've been sunning yourself? Take a look at my four new Hellebores - well three, really, as two are the same.

Oooo...lovely. What a nice welcome for you. Glad you enjoyed your holiday.
I blogged my holiday to Spain as I took pictures of flora and fauna too. Like you it wasn't a 'plant' holiday, but you just can't help your-self, can you? :)

spritz - the green one with the pink margins is H.foetida. The double purple one is not quite open enough for a photo yet - give it another few days.
Yes - you've been busy and it looks good. I must get moving as there will be plant orders arriving any day now!

Hi Andrew, They are all fantastically beautiful. You are really a very skillful photographer, taking them in the best time against the light. Especially, overlaps of sepals are beautifuly expressed. Thanks for posting these beautiful photos !

Wonderful photos.
Although your trip to Mexico was not a 'plants holiday', I can't really imagine your taking a vacation without noticing the plants ~ unless maybe at the North Pole or in the middle of the desert. But knowing you ~ even in those extreme locations, you'd probably come across some never-before-seen plant species. :o) Lol.
