A Clever Plant

Just over a week ago, I posted this photo of ypsilandra thibetica, an early-flowering woodland perennial. The weather was cold and damp and the flowers were hidden under the foliage.
Now, after several days of spring sunshine, it has brought its blooms up for visiting insects.
How clever is that?

Thats good Andrew, responding so fast. I've never seen or heard of it. Great that the insects love it.

I did, certainly - a gardener in Bracknell had one - and mine is on order now! LOL. I wish the box would come, though, in time for it to flower - or for me to see the flowers!

Very clever Andrew, but look how a bit of sunshine makes us feel. Not so good today though :o((.
Bye the way, the plant sale I went to Sunday had masses of these, yet last year they were difficult to get hold of. How a certain plant becomes fashionable.
