Todays bargains!

I have been out to Wyevale today and on the way called in to Morrison’s.
They have blue Agapanthus for £1.79 each. The plants have lots of leaves and consist of between 4 and 7 growing points.
It’s odds on that they will not flower this year or even perhaps next but they will make nice clumps eventually.
Wyevale has packs of 6 double assorted primlet primroses(a bit like rosebuds) for £5.99.Assorted colours.

Well spotted Arene.

The Agapanthus sound like a particularly good bargain. We will have a search tomorrow at our local store to see if any are in stock.

Wednesday is usually 'supermarket day' so it will be a good excuse for me to go plant hunting while Alan buys the food.....he, he, any excuse!

Thanks Arlene. I'll go to Morrisons tomorrow for a look what else they have. I go to the one in Llanelli usually. No Wyevale there though. They closed it down a few years ago. :o(

I got my double 'primlets' from Morrison's - they were £1.99 for 4! However, our Wyevale has pots of primulas for 50p each - lots of lovely colours.

Sorry Arlene I thought you'd gone to the Swansea one. Yes the Llanelli Morrisons is nice.
Swansea Wyevale I think is nearer to Ammanford than Carmarthen but I don't like that store since they altered it. Maybe I'll try Carmarthen .
