Although the weather has been COLD, WET, WINDY, and downright MISERABLE, some plants will shine through and lift our spirits, and I say thank God for these little beauties, so as not to bore you I have done the blog in two parts (well easier for me really!!) so here we go, sorry if I cannot name all the plants, will do my best.
MONTANA BROUGHTON STAR…not very old but making a good sized plant…
WEIGELA VARIEGATA.. A very reliable shrub.
OSTEOSPERNUM love these daisies, thanks GOYer it made it through the winter.
ALLIUM not sure which one…..
DORONICUM Another daisy and so reliable.
GEUM MRS BRADSHAW where would we be without her?
HARDY GERANIUM PHAEUM MOURNING WIDOW planted next to yellow looks wonderful, could not do without HGs.
AQUILEGIA BLACK BARLOW possibly?
AQUILEGIAS WOODSIDE has lovely yellow foliage…..
CISTUS PAUNANUM ? although I cannot find it under that name……there you have it, just a few of the plants out today, will follow up with the second part tomorrow, you never know but the sun might shine all day tomorrow!! raining here again.!!

Isn't the weather just horrible, Dotty? ... The lack of sunshine and warmth is getting everyone down now ... but at least we have some cheery blogs on GoY to keep us smiling! ... I love the Osteospermums and the Aquilegia definitely looks like a 'Black Barlow' ... lovely to see some colour ... :o)

Last autumn my neighbour brought her osteospermums to my cold gh, and I bought allium bulbs which I left in there as well......the osteo's have flowered the whole of the winter and the allium are flowering beautifully, both still in the gh as to cold, wet, windy and frosty to dare put them out!!
Your plants are looking delightful....a bonus on these cold days....
