I DON'T BELIEVE IT!!

Aww, yuk! I bet it left a horrible slimey trail up your window too. It amazes me where they manage to get to. Whilst helping in my friends overgrown garden I even found them up trees!

Ours tend to do this Dd. they go up our porch window but not for long! Lovely colours in that shell.

sorry to say they do this here too and so do the slugs grrrrrrrrrrrr

They climb up my hollyhocks 3 or 4 feet, eating leaves on the way.

Have you seen Hywel's pic of slug slime over a cacti? Beats me how it managed that one...

I really don`t know how they dare, I think they are a tad stupid because doing that here means the end is nigh....

We have snail trails all over our upstairs bedroom window.

Yak - horrible

Horrible :o( They're even crawling over the sharp spines of my cacti and eating the flowers and soft growing parts. You'd think they'd get shredded but they're obviously tougher than we think :o((

About time they were extinct!! (snails and slugs I mean, not your cacti Hywel!!lol)

Yuk! but amazing photo! I followed a slime trail on our balcony down to the outside wall, past several pots, down the wall on the other side .... then was losing the trail, when Partner called out "Found it!" I was following the wrong direction! It has come up onto our balcony, up the wall and was nestled in the top corner of the door! Not for long .......!!!!!!!!!

Cracking photo Dd! Many of mine seem to be assailing into my trees and heaven only knows where else! How do they do it???? Have they got stilts or catapults? I'm teaching them how to fly, as they get shot straight out of my garden too! LOL!

Hywel that is amazing, is nothing sacred? we have used 3 containers of pellets now, I swear the little blighters are immune, or the manufacturers have diluted the strength, to make us buy more?
Thanks all for your comments, glad I am not the only one coping with these slimy creatures, must have collected at least 20 slugs today, just where are they coming from? so much for frogs eating them, no way they just spend all day lolling around in the water or posing on the edge!!

Hi there Jane yes a tad too far!! we made £700.00 for the charity so we were pleased, we had 2 good days and 2 bad days weather wise, but felt that was not a bad sum to make despite the awful weather, thanks for asking.x

I think that's very good. AND you didn't do too badly having 2 good days, infact something of a minor miracle this summer...... Jx

It was, glad we did not open this week, the heat is now killing off all the roses, gone from the sublime to the ridiculous!!
