On the 23rd May our youngest daughter gets married, and she is having a blessing done in our garden, so far we have been fairly calm and collected about the whole thing………
Unfortunately their youngest has just caught chickenpox and is covered, literally, with scabby spots, we are now waiting for the eldest to go down with it!!
We have worked very hard on the garden to get it looking good, and if only the weather would warm up I think it will look ok, at least the roses will be out.
We are hoping for fine weather as our house is only small….it will be standing room only, so please everyone wish us good luck with the weather, and the chickenpox, oh and I poked myself in the eye (no not with a sharp stick) but an iris leaf right in the iris, so I have a lovely red eye now, shades it is then!!
It is the stag do tonight, all the lads staying over night in Bournmouth, at least it gives the bridegroom 14 says to get over his hangover……..!!!!!!

Troubles never come in ones, do they DD2, but these little mishaps mean that the big day will arrive and all will be wonderful, as anything that can go wrong already has - so you're immune. As for the shades, you'll be crying your eyes anyway, so DON'T worry, relax and enjoy the anticipation of your/their happiest day ....

Im sure the weather will be fine for the big day Dotty, and hopefully your eye wil be fine by then. Cant have Mother wearing shades for the photos he he he ........Dont know about the blessing though......you may have to for that....Hope it all goes well...........
