Been bitten by the BUG.......

We do not grow many plants from seeds, usually some parsley, basil and sometimes tomatoes, but this year fancied trying something else besides herbs, so here are some of them, the exotics arrive later this week. Hubby is going to be very busy (we do not have a greenhouse, so it will not be easy)
I think we may need to invest in a heated propagator to start them off.?

Pam they will have to come indoors, in the garden room (see blog) ha ha.
Gardeners world mag says to start the Aubergines now, as they require a long growing period, never grown these before, so as you say trial and error.

Uma I am hoping all the big plants will be outside by the time these start growing, the rest will end up in the porch, especially the vegetables!! could not cope with any more living inside!!

good idea Dotty but just think where you are going to put them when they come out!-- I've got a cold greenhouse but still find it too cold some years and have to make nests of bubble plastic to keep them warm at night, if you grow too early the seedlings could go leggy and weak I know its Very tempting to sow ( I have to stop myself on sunny days) but we're further north and I dont sow until march anyway Have fun ! -- I find its often trial & error-- you could sow in batches and see which do best for your area
